The Touch of Roy and Dale is out, and I couldn't be happier. This book took years to produce, but it was well worth the thousands of hours I devoted to it. I hope you enjoy it even half as much as I enjoyed creating it!

I'm delighted to announce my latest book news! I've just signed with Seller's Publishing to write an exciting new wedding book. The scheduled release date is September of 2012.

Sometimes, all the planets align for some really fun stuff!
I recently won Suite101's contest to create a new tagline for their redesigned site. There were over 4000 entries from writers worldwide, so it was a humbling win. The tagline, "Insightful Writers. Informed Readers." now appears as part of the Suite101 logo on the site and on Suite101 merchandise.
The same week as the Suite101 win, my short story, "Pillow Talk," won the monthly theme prize for March at fictionwriters.net. It also received an Editor's Choice award.
And, my article detailing how my dog, Digger, holistically triumphed over Legg-Calves Perthes Disease appears in the April/May issue of Animal Wellness Magazine, which is on newstands now.

I'm delighted to announce a partnership with West Quest to release my Roy Rogers and Dale Evans book, "The Touch of Roy and Dale," as part of the celebration of Roy's 100th birthday in November of 2011. West Quest is an educational organization that preserves and promotes the history, music, art and spirit of the American West. Proceeds from the book will benefit multiple charities.

My short story, "Empty Shoes," has just earned First Place in the 2008 Scribes Valley Publishing short story competition.
"Empty Shoes" will be published in early 2009 in the winner's anthology, "The Road To Elsewhere." This story touches upon a heart wrenching subject--the ultimate choice of life or death. It's about the amazing depth of soul that lives within us all and the personal freedom to be who we are.
